RIYADH Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with the visiting German Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock in Riyadh on Thursday.

The two ministers discussed avenues for further strengthening bilateral ties between the two countries and their peoples. They exchanged views on intensifying cooperation on regional and global issues, most notably the ongoing situation in the Gaza Strip and the efforts being made to address it.

The ministers' talks also focused on intensifying bilateral and multilateral coordination on issues of common interest. Saudi Ambassador to Germany Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan, Deputy Minister for Political Affairs Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati, and Director of the Western Europe Department Khalid Al-Subaie attended the meeting.
