RIYADHThe Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and the Ministry of Education signed a memorandum to launch the AI scholarship program during the Global AI Summit.

The scholarship program will work to bridge the gap in distinguished national talents in artificial intelligence by sending talented individuals to the most prominent international universities in artificial intelligence specializations.

The program offers a package of services that include establishing an association for the program’s scholarship recipients in specializations related to data and artificial intelligence and exploring the possibility of granting the scholarship recipients the opportunity to work on developing solutions to the technical challenges that SDAIA and its partners are working on.

The aspects of cooperation also include forming research groups to raise the quality of scientific research, linking students with prominent researchers, and stimulating cooperation between scholarship recipients in artificial intelligence specializations.

The two parties will also cooperate in providing guidance workshops for the program’s beneficiaries.

SDAIA launched the Artificial Intelligence Scholarship Program in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program, which aims to provide distinguished educational opportunities for national competencies in artificial intelligence and data sciences at the most prestigious international universities and encourage them to acquire skills and expertise in this field.
