RIYADH The security committee for monitoring stores for stitching and selling military clothing in the Riyadh region have confiscated recently more than 3,000 military medals and logos. This was after detecting that they were made in violation of the regulations for selling and sewing military clothing.

The committee has also shut down six shops that sew military clothing without a license. Workers at these shops were referred to the competent authorities after discovering that there were runaway reports against them.

The inspection tours were carried out by the security committee in line with the directives and follow-up of the Emir and Deputy Emir of Riyadh to curb such violating practices and take legal measures against the violators.

It is noteworthy that the inspection campaign was carried out with the participation of the Ministry of the National Guard, the Presidency of State Security, police, directorate of passports, mayoralty, and the labor office in the Riyadh region.
