RIYADHThe "Riyadh Light Festival 2024" will be launched on November 28 and continue to December 14 in various centers in Riyadh under the slogan "Between the Earth and the Pleiades". The fourth edition of the festival includes more than 60 artworks presented by a group of elite Saudi and international artists.

“Riyadh Light Festival 2024” is one of the projects of the “Riyadh Art” program within the “Four Grand Riyadh Projects”, which was launched by King Salman on March 19, 2019, under the leadership of Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince, with the aim of transforming Riyadh into an open art gallery that blends authenticity and modernity, in line with the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030 programs in promoting the arts among the residents and visitors of the Saudi capital.

Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Farhan stressed that the “Light of Riyadh” celebration is an annual creative platform that brings together leading artists with the most prominent national and international creative talents in light artworks from within Saudi Arabia and from around the world to present inspiring artworks that support the artistic and creative movement in Riyadh, contribute to strengthening the city’s position on the global art scene map, and raise the quality of life of its residents and visitors.

He also stressed that this support is an extension of the generous support and patronage that various cultural and artistic programs, projects and activities receive from the Saudi leadership, which has contributed to placing Saudi Arabia at the forefront of the global art scene.

The “Riyadh Light 2024” celebration will be held under the supervision of a group of local and international art curators who have participated in several of the largest art celebrations and exhibitions around the world, including international art curator Dr. Alfredo Cramerotti, and Saudi art curator Dr. Iffat Fadaaq.

This year’s celebration will witness various artistic and creative light shows that will illuminate the sky of Riyadh and create an exciting creative environment for those interested in arts and culture from various segments of society in Riyadh.
