RIYADH Commander of the Saudi Joint Forces Lt. Gen. Fahd Al-Salman visited members of the Joint Forces, who were convalescing after sustaining injury in the Decisive Storm and Restoration of Hope operations in Yemen at Prince Sultan Military Medical City in Riyadh on Tuesday.

He reassured the health of the injured, asking God to grant them health, wellness and a speedy recovery. Lt. Gen. Al-Salman said: "You are the heroes of the nation and what you were exposed to was in the defense of your religion, then your king and your nation, and it is a medal of honor for you." He conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the leadership to the injured and its wishes for a speedy recovery.

On their part, the injured soldiers expressed their thanks to Lt. Gen. Al-Salman for his visit and the reassurance about their health. They emphasized that they are fully prepared to return to the field of honor and glory after completing treatment to confront the enemy.

The soldiers also vowed their readiness to carry out their assigned role to maintain security of the homeland that is dear to everyone, saying that they consider their injuries a badge of honor that they feel proud of.
