NEW YORK — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan held separate talks with President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev and Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides in New York on Wednesday. The meetings were held on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the meeting, Prince Faisal conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to the presidents as well as to the governments and peoples of Bulgaria and Cyprus. On their parts, the presidents conveyed their greetings and appreciation to King Salman and the Crown Prince, as well as to the government and people of Saudi Arabia.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to support and strengthen them. They reviewed the latest international developments and issues of mutual interest.
Foreign Minister Prince Faisal also met with his Algerian counterpart in New York. During their meeting, Prince Faisal and Algeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and explored ways to intensify bilateral and multilateral coordination on issues of mutual concern, primarily the situation in the Gaza Strip.
The meetings were attended by the Kingdom's permanent representative to the United Nations in New York Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, and Director General of the office of the minister of foreign affairs Abdulrahman Al-Dawood.
