RIYADH —
Minister of Media Salman Al-Dosari visited the Riyadh International Book Fair 2024, organized by the Literature, Publishing & Translation Commission under the slogan "Riyadh Reads," held at King Saud University.

During his tour, Al-Dosari expressed his delight with the exhibition's cultural diversity, reflected in the wide range of book titles, publications, and the accompanying cultural program, as well as the new events featured in this year’s edition.

“Every time, the book fair enhances the true concept of culture and is not limited to printing and publishing houses only,” Al-Dosari remarked.

He further emphasized the importance of expanding the meaning of culture beyond books and publishing. “Despite the significance of books and publishing, this depth and expansion in evoking the meaning of culture give the exhibition an international framework, especially in terms of the seminars, workshops, and various events it includes,” he added.

Al-Dosari also expressed his confidence that publishers would leave the exhibition satisfied with the outcomes of their participation. He welcomed Qatar, the guest of honor for this year's fair, highlighting the country's longstanding contributions to cultural work.
