BEIRUT — The second relief plane of the Saudi air bridge arrived at Rafic Hariri International Airport in the Lebanese capital Beirut on Monday. The relief plane, which carries food, shelter, and medical supplies, is part of the humanitarian aid, organized by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) in line with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

This relief aid aims to alleviate the suffering of the affected Lebanese people and constitutes part of the Kingdom's ongoing support for various Lebanese humanitarian and relief sectors. It is also in keeping with the significant humanitarian role that the Kingdom plays through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, in aiding countries in times of crisis, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The KSrelief launched on Sunday the air bridge to provide essential assistance to the Lebanese people, in response to the worsening situation in Lebanon. The first plane, carrying vital supplies including food, medical aid, and shelter materials, arrived in Beirut on Sunday from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, KSrelief Supervisor General and Advisor to the Royal Court, emphasized that this humanitarian initiative demonstrates Saudi Arabia's ongoing commitment to supporting those in need around the world.
