BEIRUT Saudi Arabia continues its pioneering humanitarian role through its relief arm, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), as it is sending relief planes carrying supplies to help the Lebanese people to face their current crisis.

A fifth relief plane arrived in Beirut on Thursday, in implementation of the directives of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

On Sunday, the first relief plane arrived at Beirut International Airport in Lebanon as part of the Saudi airlift operated by KSrelief.

Relief planes continued to arrive one after the other, departing from King Khalid Airport in Riyadh to Beirut Airport, carrying food, shelter and medical supplies to help the people of Lebanon.

This aid comes within the framework of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian role in standing with the brotherly Lebanese people in the various crises and hardships they are going through.
