RIYADH Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority Turki Al-Sheikh announced that Riyadh Season 2024 registered a record number of 2 million visitors within a week of its launch, which reflects the great passion for the season, which the public awaits annually.

Five main zones operate within the season — Boulevard World, Kingdom Arena, Boulevard City, The Venue, Al Suwaidi Park.

With 5 new zones — Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Iran, Africa, and Courchevel, the total number of zones rose to 22 representing several countries around the world. There are some 300 restaurants and cafes, and more than 890 shops.

The Kingdom Arena saw a historic fight between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol. Beterbiev was crowned the undisputed champion in the light heavyweight division after he defeated Bivol by majority decision in a match that embodied intense competition between the boxers and that became a landmark in global boxing.

As for The Venue area, its first events of the season kicked off with the Six Kings Slam tournament, which is the most expensive tennis tournament in the world, with the participation of six of the most prominent stars in the world ranking, namely Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Rafael Nadal, Daniil Medvedev, and Holger Rune.

This week, Al Suwaidi Park is hosting Indian events, including popular shows, traditional dishes, and concerts, amidst a large turnout from the Indian community, residents, and lovers of Indian culture.

Boulevard City has succeeded in attracting visitors through new entertainment experiences such as PUBG Mobile and the Conan experience, in addition to a variety of restaurants and the distinctive atmosphere surrounding the dancing fountain.
