Al-Jalajel announces granting Premium Residency to 2,645 exceptional healthcare professionals

RIYADH — Saudi Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel has announced the granting of Premium Residency (Special Talent Residency) to 2,645 exceptional healthcare professionals. These professionals represent 152 priority healthcare specializations including doctors and other practitioners from 56 countries, the minister said while addressing the Global Health Exhibition, which began in Riyadh on Monday.

The minister said that this initiative would mark a significant step forward for the Kingdom's healthcare sector. "This step aligns with previous healthcare transformation efforts, aimed to bolster the sector's foundation by attracting and retaining top healthcare professionals. These professionals are crucial for knowledge transfer and global expertise, enabling the development of a strong national healthcare workforce," he said.

Al-Jalajel said that this step is consistent with the current phase's focus on promoting human health, improving prevention measures, and enhancing quality of life, aligning with the goals of the Health Sector Transformation Program, a key component of Saudi Vision 2030.

The minister also extended his gratitude and appreciation to the citizens and expatriates working in healthcare sector for their contributions to serving the nation and advancing the sector, as well as for their role in delivering high-quality healthcare services for all.

It is noteworthy that the Premium Residency Center offers seven residency products. They are Special Talent Residency, Gifted Residency, Investor Residency, Entrepreneur Residency, Real Estate Owner Residency, Limited Duration Residency, and Unlimited Duration Residency. These products provide holders with numerous benefits, such as the right to live in Saudi Arabia with their families, own property, host relatives, conduct business, and travel to and from the Kingdom without a visa. Holders can also benefit from partnerships with government entities.
