Saudi Arabia pledges $51 million for Sahel and Lake Chad support

Saudi Gazette report JEDDAH — Adviser at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah announced that Saudi Arabia has pledged an additional $30 million in support of the Sahel and Lake Chad region. This new commitment brings the total allocation to $51 million since the beginning of 2024. This pledge underscores the Kingdom's ongoing commitment to assisting disaster-affected communities and reflects its dedication to supporting international initiatives in various regions worldwide.
