RIYADH — Al Hilal has become the Saudi team with the longest unbeaten streak across all domestic competitions, extending their record to 56 consecutive matches without a loss following a 1-1 draw against rivals Al Nassr in the ninth round of the Saudi Pro League.
This latest result allowed Al Hilal to surpass Al Ahli’s previous record of 55 domestic matches unbeaten, achieved between August 11, 2014, and February 15, 2016.
Al Hilal’s unbeaten run dates back to May 23, 2023, when they suffered their last defeat to Al Adalah, ending in a 2-0 loss.
During Al Ahli's 55-match streak, they registered 39 wins and 16 draws.
Al Hilal, however, has reached 50 wins with only six draws, setting a new benchmark for consistency in Saudi football.
