MUSCATChief of Staff of the Naval Forces Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Gharibi began an official visit to Oman, during which he met with a number of senior Omani officials.

During the meeting with the Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman Major General Al Rahbi, they discussed the ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two navies and a number of issues of common interest.

Al-Gharibi also met with Minister of the Royal Office Lieutenant General Sultan Al-Nu'mani. They discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, in addition to exchanging friendly talks and views on topics of common interest.

Al-Gharibi visited several Omani naval facilities such as Maritime Security Centre, the Academy of Strategic and Defense Studies, Sultan Qaboos Naval Academy, and Said bin Sultan Naval Base, and inspected one of the Royal Omani ships.
