DAMMAM — Police in Dammam in the Eastern Province arrested a Yemeni resident for assaulting his compatriot by pouring acid on him and stabbing him with a knife, leading to his death. A dispute between the two Yemenis resulted in the attack.

The Eastern Province police said in a statement on Saturday that the accused was arrested and referred to the Public Prosecution after taking the necessary legal measures against him.
