RIYADH — The security committee for monitoring military clothing stores and tailoring shops in the Riyadh region has confiscated more than 20,000 military ranks and emblems after detection of violation of the regulations for selling and tailoring military clothing.

The committee also closed two illegal tailoring shops for military clothing that were operating without a license. The security committee carries out inspection tours on an ongoing basis to curb such illegal practices and take legal measures against violators.

It is noteworthy that the inspection tour was carried out in line with the directives and follow-up of the emir and deputy emir of the Riyadh region. Officials from the Ministry of the National Guard, Ministry of Commerce, Presidency of State Security, the Riyadh Region Police, the Region's Mayoralty, and the Labor Office in the Riyadh Region took part in the inspection campaign.
