Al Khaleej qualifies for Asian Men's Club League Handball Championship final

Al Khaleej's first handball team has advanced to the final of the 27th Asian Men's Club League Handball Championship after a hard-fought 23-21 victory over Qatar's Al-Duhail in the semi-final match held on Thursday.

The team turned a narrow 14-13 lead at halftime into a decisive two-goal win, showcasing resilience and tactical excellence.

Goalkeeper Mohammed Abdulhussein was instrumental in the victory, earning the Man of the Match award for his exceptional performance.

Al Khaleej will face Sharjah of the UAE in the final on Saturday at 6:00 p.m.

The team is determined to secure the championship trophy for the second consecutive year and qualify for the 2025 World Club Championship.
