RIYADH — Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Member of the Cabinet and Climate Affairs Envoy Adel Al-Jubeir met with members of the European Union Political and Security Committee, headed by its Chairwoman Delphine Pronk, at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh on Sunday.

The meeting was held in the presence of the Special Representative of the European Union for the Gulf Region Luigi Di Maio.

During the meeting, Al-Jubeir reviewed the Kingdom's foreign policy and its positions on various regional and international issues, as well as its efforts to enhance regional and international security and peace. He discussed with the committee members ways to further enhance existing cooperation between the Kingdom and the European Union in all fields, including the fields of environment and climate change.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community Haifa bint Abdulrahman Al-Judaie, and the Ambassador of the European Union to the Kingdom Christophe Farno.
