RIYADH Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, Minister of Energy, participated in a tripartite meeting via telephone with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, who is visiting Kazakhstan on an official visit, and Kazakhstan's Minister of Energy Almasadam Satkaliev.

The meeting stressed the importance of maintaining stability and balance in global oil markets, noting the major role played by the OPEC+ group in this regard.

The meeting also stressed the importance of cooperation among OPEC+ countries and their full commitment to the agreement, including voluntary production cuts agreed upon by the eight participating countries, and compensating for any increases in production.

The Kazakh minister confirmed Kazakhstan's full commitment to the agreement, voluntary production cuts and compensation for production increases, according to the updated schedule submitted to the OPEC Secretariat.
