Over 2.4 million amphetamine pills seized in Riyadh, two arrested

RIYADH —
The General Directorate of Narcotics Control has seized 2,413,135 amphetamine pills concealed within metal pipes in Riyadh.

Two individuals, a resident and a Syrian national, were apprehended for their involvement in promoting the drugs.

This operation is part of ongoing security efforts to track and dismantle drug trafficking and distribution networks that target the Kingdom’s security and its youth.

Authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or distribution activities.

Reports can be made by calling 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, 999 in other regions of the Kingdom, or the General Directorate of Narcotics Control hotline at 995.
