RIYADH The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has been conducting awareness programs about the recent Labor Law amendments through a series of workshops across the Kingdom. These workshops were part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to empower the workforce and create a supportive work environment. By raising awareness of the Labor Law amendments, the ministry aimed to drive economic growth and enhance the Kingdom’s labor market.

As part of these programs, the ministry’s Labor Market Policies Agency held a workshop at the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce on December 10, 2024. The event was attended by high-profile figures, including Undersecretary for Labor Market Policies Eng. Muhannad Al-Essa and Assistant Secretary General for Joint Services at the Riyadh Chamber Abdulaziz Al-Ghannam. The workshop brought together human resources specialists, private sector employers, and labor law experts to discuss the impact of the new amendments on the Saudi labor market.

On December 11, the Madinah Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, organized a workshop to delve deeper into the Labor Law amendments. The event focused on the objectives of the amendments, their positive impact on the labor market, and strategies for fostering a sustainable work environment that drives excellence
