, Jordan — Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, took part in the meeting of the Arab Ministerial Contact Committee on Syria on Saturday in Aqaba, Jordan.

The committee, established by an Arab League resolution, includes Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, and Egypt.

The meeting also saw the participation of the foreign ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain (current Arab Summit President), Qatar, Turkey, France, and the United States, alongside the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States.

Discussions focused on the latest developments in Syria and explored ways to support a transitional political process that aligns with the aspirations of the Syrian people while ensuring the country’s security, stability, and territorial integrity.
