In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom's condemnation and denunciation of the decision of the Israeli occupation government to expand settlement in the occupied Syrian territory of Golan, and its continued sabotage of Syria's chances of restoring its security and stability.

Saudi Arabia also renewed its call to the international community to condemn these Israeli violations. While stressing the need to respect Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, the ministry reiterated its firm position that Golan is an occupied Syrian Arab land.
