RIYADH — The Saudi national football team secured a 3-1 victory against Trinidad and Tobago in a friendly match on Tuesday at Al Shabab Club Stadium.
The game was part of Saudi Arabia's preparation program for the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup, set to be held in Kuwait.
The goals for the Saudi team were scored by Saleh Al-Shehri, who converted a penalty, Abdullah Al-Hamdan, and Nasser Al-Dosari.
Saudi head coach Hervé Renard fielded two different lineups, with each team playing one half of the match.
Meanwhile, player Firas Al-Buraikan continued his individual training under the supervision of the medical staff, while Abdullah Al-Khaibari worked on his rehabilitation program.
Hassan Al-Tambakti also completed special training sessions with the medical team.
Sultan Al-Ghannam was rested and did not participate in the match due to a cold, as advised by the medical staff.
