Border Guards rescue 5 Saudis after their marine vessel runs aground

JEDDAH The search and rescue teams of the Border Guards in Jeddah governorate in the Makkah region have rescued five Saudi citizens after their marine vessel ran aground at the Red Sea. They were provided with the necessary assistance after carrying out rescue operation.

The General Directorate of Border Guards called on the public to adhere to maritime safety guidelines and ensure the safety of marine vessels before sailing. It urged to contact the phone numbers 911 in the regions of Makkah and the Eastern Province, and the number 994 in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom, seeking assistance in emergency cases.
