RIYADH — The board of directors of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) convened on Thursday for its third meeting of 2024.

Chaired by Minister of Media and SPA Chairman Salman Al-Dossary, the meeting endorsed SPA's comprehensive media transformation plan while addressing key strategic initiatives.

Board members reviewed SPA’s international strategic partnerships, emphasizing their importance in conveying Saudi Arabia’s media message globally.

The session also included a briefing on the decision-making support platform implemented by SPA’s data department, developed in line with the policies of the National Data Management Office (NDMO).

Al-Dossary announced the appointment of Abdullatif Al Abdullatif as vice chairman of the board of directors.

Decisions were made on a range of agenda items aimed at advancing SPA’s strategic goals and operational efficiency. — SPA
