SYRIA — While some Syrian actors have hit the rocks in their careers due to civil upheaval, Syrian actress Amal Arafa has found work.
Arafa, after a gap of almost one year, will soon be seen in the sequel drama "Sarkhat Rouh (Cry of the Soul)," according to albawaba.com
The series will be directed by Eyad Nahhas and will filmed in Damascus.
What makes the production special is the variety of topics tackled throughout the series. Each episode will feature a different social topic — marital betrayal, doubt and forbidden intimate premarital relationships — faced by everyday people in society.
Other celebs starring alongside Amal include Abdel Minem Amayri, Marah Jabir, Mu’tasim Al Nahar, Lina Diab and many others.
The singer recorded a new song dedicated to Syria titled “Badawwer Ala Hali (Searching for Myself)." — SG
