RIYADH Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan received United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Commissioner General Philippe Lazzarini in Riyadh on Wednesday.

During the meeting, they reviewed the cooperation between Saudi Arabia and UNRWA, as well as the recent regional developments and the ongoing efforts related to address these issues.

Also on Wednesday, Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah met with UNRWA Commissioner General Philippe Lazzarini. Their meeting focused on humanitarian and relief efforts and the latest developments in Gaza.

On his part, Lazzarini expressed his gratitude for the Kingdom’s unwavering support for UNRWA, saying that this has significantly improved the humanitarian conditions of Palestinian refugees. He emphasized the strategic partnership between the Kingdom and the agency, expressing optimism for further collaboration to benefit Palestinian refugees.
