Crown Prince calls Lebanese President Aoun; invite him to visit Saudi Arabia

RIYADH — Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman made a phone call with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun on Saturday.

During the call, the Crown Prince extended Aoun an invitation to visit Saudi Arabia. The Crown Prince conveyed to him the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, and himself on Aoun’s election and taking the constitutional oath as president of Lebanon.

The Crown Prince expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes for the success of Aoun and further progress and prosperity for the people of Lebanon.

For his part, Joseph Aoun expressed his thanks and appreciation of the Crown Prince for the Kingdom's positions towards Lebanon and its people, as well as for his invitation to visit the Kingdom.

Aoun stressed that Saudi Arabia will be his first destination during his foreign visits, in response to the invitation from the Crown Prince. He also appreciated the historical role of Saudi Arabia in supporting and cooperating with Lebanon.
