RIYADH — Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Fayyadh Al-Ruwaili met with the Commander of the US Central Command, Lieutenant General Michael Kurilla.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in the defense and military fields, and ways to enhance and develop them.

The United States has agreed to sell Saudi Arabia 20 MK 54 MOD 0 lightweight torpedoes for $78.5 million, according to the Pentagon.

“The proposed sale will improve Saudi Arabia’s ability to deter current and future threats by developing its anti-submarine warfare capabilities,” the Pentagon said.
