RIYADH Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef launched a new initiative called Young Mining Professionals (YMP). The initiative is aimed at empowering young professionals in the mining sector during the fourth annual Future Minerals Forum (FMF) in Riyadh.

The initiative aims to provide opportunities for youth across various academic and professional disciplines, encouraging their active participation in shaping the future of the mining and minerals industry. It also offers participants the chance to gain valuable experience, enhance their skills, and engage with leaders and experts in the field.

"In the Kingdom, we believe our true wealth lies in our national human capital. While we possess abundant resources in oil, gas, and minerals, investing in our youth remains the cornerstone for achieving our aspirations. This is why Saudi Vision 2030 emphasizes directing all development efforts toward providing high-quality job opportunities,” Alkhorayef said at the event.
