RIYADH — A royal order has been issued to reconstitute the fifth session of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Human Rights Commission (HRC) for a period of four years.
Commenting on the decision, HRC President Dr. Hala bint Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri, on her behalf and on behalf of the members of the board, expressed thanks and appreciation of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman on the occasion of the issuance of the royal order.
She thanked the King and the Crown Prince for the support and assistance that the commission continues to receive from the wise leadership so as to enhance its role in protecting human rights and raising awareness about them in a way that benefits citizens and expatriates in the Kingdom. She also expressed her thanks to the former members of the board for the fruitful efforts they made and provided during their tenure in the board.
The members of the newly constituted board are the following: Dr. Ghafoon Al-Yami, Dr. Amal bint Mohammed Al-Habdan, Dr. Sarah bint Abdulaziz Al-Faisal, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Batty, Duha bint Alawi Al-Ibrahim, Dr. Sarah bint Omar Al-Abdulkarim, Dr. Ahmed Al-Saif, Dr. Othman Talebi, Dr. Abdulmajeed Al-Shaalan, Nawal bint Khalid Al-Qahtani, Awatif bint Fahd Al-Harthi, Dr. Suleiman Al-Shadi, Mohammed Al-Muharib, Ahmed Al-Mutlaq, Asma bint Fouad Farsi, Dr. Faisal Al-Subaie, Dr. Raja Allah Al-Salami, Dr. Adnan Al-Naeem, Naqaa Al-Otaibi, Abdulmohsen Al-Khuthaila, Munira bint Hamdan Al-Asimi, Dr. Abdulhamid Al-Harqan, Dr. Abdullatif Al-Sheikh, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shalfan, Dr. Lana bint Hassan, Fawza bint Mitab Al Mohaid, amd Dr. Rima bint Abdullah.
