RIYADH — Prince Sultan University (PSU) has unveiled an innovative artificial intelligence (AI) initiative in partnership with Intelmatix and researchers from the world’s top ten universities specializing in technology and AI.
The Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Dr. Saad Al-Ruwaiteeh, announced that the initiative seeks to position PSU as a global leader in research and development, addressing critical global challenges.
He emphasized the importance of this step in advancing specialized academic programs in AI, creating cutting-edge digital solutions, and empowering students and faculty to establish startups that showcase their creativity and leadership in the field.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Sharaa, Dean of the College of Computer and Information Sciences, highlighted that the initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030’s emphasis on digital transformation and AI as key drivers of growth.
The program aims to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship through advanced training, collaborative research projects, and platforms that connect students and experts worldwide.
This ambitious project will provide students and researchers with opportunities to develop cutting-edge AI solutions, contributing to Saudi Arabia’s leadership in technology and innovation on the global stage.
