RIYADH — The death certificate for a deceased person can now be issued through the Ministry of Interior's Absher platform. This is among a number of new Absher services launched by Maj. Gen. Saleh Al-Murabba, supervisor of the Ministry of Interior's Civil Status Agency, in a ceremony held at the Employees Club under the ministry in Riyadh on Tuesday.

The new services include issuance of a family register to replace a damaged or lost one and issuance of birth and death certificates for foster families. The Absher platform will offer the new electronic services, in cooperation with the Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

The Civil Status Agency said that beneficiaries can view the procedures and requirements of these services by logging into their accounts on the Absher platform or through the Absher application on smartphones. The launch of the new services is aimed at providing smart digital solutions that enhance the quality and efficiency of services provided to beneficiaries.
