PARIS —
On behalf of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan, led Saudi Arabia's delegation attending the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit in Paris on Tuesday.

The summit discusses the impact of artificial intelligence on societies, ways to benefit from it, and the enhancement of multilateral action in the field of technology to serve humanity and achieve sustainable development goals.

The Saudi delegation to the two-day summit included Dr. Abdullah Alghamdi, president of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), and Fahad Alruwaily, Saudi ambassador to France.

Several heads of state and government, leaders of international organizations, CEOs of small and large companies, representatives of academia, non-governmental organizations, artists and members of civil society are attending the third edition of the summit, which began at the Grand Palais in Paris on Monday. The Summit focuses on five major themes, including public service AI, future of work, innovation and culture, trust in AI, and global governance of AI.
