RIYADH — Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman held a phone call with US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth on Sunday.

During the call, Prince Khalid congratulated Hegseth on his appointment as secretary of defense.

They discussed Saudi-US relations, strategic cooperation in defense, and ways to further develop it, in a way serving the common interests of both nations. The two officials also delved into efforts to consolidate international security and peace.
