King Salman approves distribution of 700 tons of dates in 102 countries during Ramadan

RIYADH Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has approved the implementation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Gift for Dates Distribution Program in 102 countries during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.

Overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance, the program will distribute 700 tons of dates, marking an increase of 200 tons compared to last year.

Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh expressed his gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for their continued support of Muslims worldwide, particularly during Ramadan. He highlighted the Kingdom's commitment to promoting Islamic values and combating hatred, extremism, and fanaticism.

The ministry has finalized all logistical preparations for the shipment of the dates, and that is in coordination with religious attachés in Saudi embassies, Islamic centers, and organizations across the world.
