RIYADH — Saudi Arabia welcomed on Tuesday the decision to hold the Syrian National Dialogue Conference.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hoped that the conference would contribute to fulfilling the aspirations of the Syrian people and strengthening their national unity.

Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its support for efforts to build Syrian state institutions and achieve stability and prosperity for its citizens.

The ministry reiterated its steadfast position in support of Syria's security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
