MAKKAH — Director General of Public Security Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Bassami inspected the readiness of the security and traffic forces and agencies to implement the plans related to the Umrah security during the peak annual Umrah season in the holy month of Ramadan.

He witnessed a drill of the security agencies participating in the field deployment in the presence of the Commander of the Umrah Security Forces and field commanders.

The tour of Lt. Gen. Al-Bassami included the sites and paths inside the Grand Mosque and its courtyards. He was briefed on the mechanism for implementing the approved security plans for the security and safety of the guests of God and the services rendered to them.
