RIYADH — A Yemeni national, who exploited eight children for begging in public squares and roads, was arrested in Riyadh. The arrest was made during a security operation, carried out by the Riyadh Police, in coordination with the General Department for Community Security and Combating Human Trafficking Crimes, against those engaged in beggary.

The Yemeni expatriate was accused of violating the Anti-Human Trafficking Law by committing this crime. The accused was referred to the Public Prosecution after taking the legal measures against him. The security authorities have provided the necessary humanitarian services for the exploited victims.
