MAKKAH —
Amidst an atmosphere of faith, joy, security, and tranquility, thousands of worshippers gathered at the Grand Mosque in Makkah on Sunday's morning to perform the Eid Al-Fitr prayer, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, Imam of the Grand Mosque, led the prayer and delivered a sermon in which he extended heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim world on the joyous occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.

In Madinah, worshippers filled the Prophet's Mosque in a similarly serene and spiritual setting. Among those attending was Madinah Emir Prince Salman bin Sultan.

The Eid prayer was led by Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Buaijan, Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque, who also delivered a sermon extending Eid greetings and emphasizing the values of compassion, unity, and gratitude that define the celebration.

The scenes in both holy cities reflected the deep spiritual significance of the day, as well as the Kingdom’s efforts to ensure a safe and seamless experience for worshippers.
