The ES TIMES — The League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) Spring Split 2025 is officially underway, running from March 29 to June 8, with the region’s top squads battling for a place at the 2025 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) in Vancouver, Canada.
The two finalists of the Spring Playoffs will earn MSI qualification:
The LEC champion will advance directly to the Bracket Stage.
The runner-up will compete in the Play-Ins Stage against the second-place teams from LPL (China), LCK (Korea), and LLA (Americas).
This year’s Spring Split features two main phases: the Group Stage and the Playoffs.
Week 1: March 29–31
Week 2: April 5–7
Week 3: April 12–14
Week 4: April 19–21
Week 5: April 26–28
Week 6: May 3–5
Week 7: May 10–12
Week 8–10: May 24 – June 8
Key format changes:
Best-of-One (BO1) matches eliminated — unlike the Winter Split, all matches will now be played in extended series formats.
Only six teams will qualify for the Playoffs.
All Playoff matches will be Best-of-Five (BO5).
The Fearless Draft System, praised by pros and fans alike, returns and will be used throughout the competition.

All regular matches will be held at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin, Germany, except for LEC Roadtrip events.
