JEDDAH — Prince Badr bin Farhan, Minister of Culture, met with Jorge Rodriguez Vives, Minister of Culture and Youth of Costa Rica, on Thursday in Jeddah. At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Culture welcomed his Costa Rican counterpart to Saudi Arabia, wishing him a pleasant stay, and praising the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries.

The meeting addressed the importance of enhancing international cultural exchange between Saudi Araba and Costa Rica in various cultural fields, most notably museums, theater and performing arts, music, visual arts, and culinary arts, as well as disseminating cultural knowledge between the two countries. The meeting also discussed cooperation between the two friendly countries on cultural matters within international organizations.

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture for International Cultural Relations,Eng. Fahd Al-Kanaan, and Costa Rica's non-resident Ambassador to Saudi Araba Francisco Hernandez attended the meeting.
