MAKKAH — Security patrols of Makkah police arrested four Chinese nationals for engaging in fraudulent means through circulating fake Hajj campaign advertisements on social media.

The gang claimed in the advertisement that they will offer accommodation and transportation at the holy sites. They were referred to the Public Prosecution after taking legal procedures against them.

The General Directorate of Public Security urged citizens and residents to adhere to Hajj regulations and report any violations by calling over the phone number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern Province and the number 999 in other parts of the Kingdom.
