Defense minister meets Yemen’s new prime minister, affirms Saudi support

RIYADH —
Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman met with Yemeni Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik in Riyadh on Monday. They discussed bilateral ties and regional developments.

Prince Khalid conveyed greetings and congratulations from King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the Yemeni leader on his recent appointment, expressing wishes for Yemen’s security, stability, and prosperity.

Prime Minister bin Braik conveyed his appreciation to the Saudi leadership and reaffirmed the importance of continued cooperation.

The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and supporting Yemen’s economic and development goals.

Prince Khalid reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to backing the Yemeni government in serving the aspirations of its people.
