MADRID — Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan held talks with his Spanish and Norwegian counterparts in Madrid on Sunday. Their discussions mainly focused on the latest developments in Gaza and the West Bank. The separate meetings were held on the sidelines of the expanded meeting between the Ministerial Committee assigned by the Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit on Developments in the Gaza Strip, the Madrid Group, and a number of European countries, held in the Spanish capital Madrid.
During the meeting, Prince Faisal and Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares discussed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, areas of joint cooperation, and regional and international developments, most notably developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and efforts to resolve them.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan also held talks with Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs Espen Barth Eide. During the meeting, the two ministers discussed relations between Saudi Arabia and Norway, as well as regional and international developments, with a particular focus on the latest situation in Gaza and the West Bank and ongoing efforts to address them.
The meetings were attended by Saudi Ambassador to Spain Princess Haifa bint Abdulaziz Al-Mogrin; Advisor to the Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Prince Musab Al-Farhan; and Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Manal Radwan.
