JEDDAH — Officials from the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) have arrested a Yemeni resident in Jeddah governorate for attempting to sell 194,000 amphetamine pills. Legal procedures have been initiated against him before referring him to the Public Prosecution.

Security authorities urged the public to report any information concerning drug smuggling or selling by calling over the number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province and the number 999 in the rest of the Kingdom's regions. They may also contact the GDNC over the number 995 or through email: [email protected]. All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality, the directorate said.
