Over 20 million pilgrims benefit from Makkah Grand Mosque's advanced services last year

MAKKAH — The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has been exerting great efforts in offering diverse and best ever possible services for pilgrims and visitors to the Grand Mosque in Makkah throughout the year 1446 AH.

The authority reported that over 20 million pilgrims and visitors have benefited from its advanced services, and these include more than 17 million who took advantage of directional guidance. More than 3.28 million people utilized cart services, and over 227,000 used the luggage storage service. More than 525,000 pilgrims benefited from the Tahallul service.

Over 3.66 million Zamzam water bottles were distributed among the worshipers at the mosque. Over 9,700 tons of waste were removed to maintain cleanliness around the Grand Mosque and its courtyards.

The authority reaffirmed its commitment to excellence, aligning with the Kingdom's vision for serving the Two Holy Mosques, delivering high-quality services, and enriching the experiences of pilgrims and visitors.
