911 emergency centers handle over 2.7 million calls in July

RIYADH — The National Security Operations Center (911) received a total of 2,779,711 calls across the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province in July 2025, as part of its mission to handle emergency communications and route them to the relevant security and service agencies.

The 911 unified operations centers operate using advanced automated systems, staffed by highly trained multilingual teams who provide accurate and professional service around the clock.

According to official figures, Makkah Province recorded 845,165 calls, Madinah 243,816, Riyadh 1,164,066, and the Eastern Province 526,664, bringing the total number of calls in these regions to nearly 2.78 million for the month.

The centers continue to play a pivotal role in ensuring rapid emergency response and coordination between various agencies, reinforcing public safety and service efficiency nationwide.
