SYRIA — Syrian actor Jamal Suliman will soon return to Syrian dramas, after years of absence.  Suliman had given priority to Egyptian productions for years, but he’s expected to make a comeback to his native dramas after being nominated for a role in "Qalam Ahmar (Red Pen)," albawaba.com reported. According to his official Facebook page, Suliman will begin filming his scenes at the end of this current month in Lebanon. Red Pen" is a social drama which follows the lives of Syrians living abroad following the events of the Syrian revolution, which prevented them from returning back home. Other confirmed Syrian actors cast for the drama are Ayman Zaidan, Sulafa Mimar, Shukran Murtaja, Samia Al Jazaeri, Bassem Yakhour, Ayman Rida and Nibal Al Jaza’eri. — SG
